The Trasmallo tapas bar and restaurant is located on the eastern side of the Torreguadiro Beach. The front of the restaurant has a large tapas & fish display and a more casual and relaxed atmosphere. The food offered in the tapas bar is very reasonably proced at arpound £2 per tapas, £6 for a media racion and £12 for a full portion. Typical tapas includes Pulpo a La gallega, which is absolutely delicious here and comes served on a bed of sliced potatoes, grilled white prawns, cooked to perfections, almejas (clams) in garlic or marinera style, pinchitos, carne en salsa, calamari, puntillitas (fried baby squid), patatas ali oli, russian salad, salad a la pimienta, fried gallo (john dory), seafood salad and various other specials of the day.

The tapas bar usually gets very busy so come there early for lunch or dinner on the weekend as otherwise services can be quite slow and staff is usually quite stressed. However the food is totally worth the wait and the price is very reasonable compared to other tapas places in La Linea or Sotogrande.

The Trasmallo restaurant is located at the back of the restaurant and enjoys beautiful views of the beach, sea and Sotogrande. You are advised to call and book a table on the veranda from where you can enjoy the stunning sea views.

The food in the restaurant is more refined than in the tapas bar. There are also no tapas available but you can choose, starters, salads, main dishes and deserts from the menu. The Trasmallo is a fish restaurant and although it offers meat dishes such as lamb, chicken and beef steak, it is recommended to choose from the  variety of grilled fishes and seafood. from the menu. From Prawns, to Crayfish, to Lobster, Mussels to clams, Seabass to Sole and Swordfish no matter what you order your waiter will bring the fish to your table to make sure you approve. The fish is always incredibly fresh and comes beautifully cooked. The prices in the main restaurant are on comparison more expensive than in the tapas bar, but the food is finer and the service is better. The restaurant is comparable to the Marina in La Linea but the food is better and the bill comes to a lot less.

The Trasmallo tapas bar and the restaurant both are highly recommened. Atmospehere wise we usually prefer lunch in the tapas place and dinner in the restaurant (not on the same day ; )!!!).
